A classic cavalry helmet of the greathelm type, one of the most recognizable symbols of Europe in the Middle Ages.

This helmet was found in the Schlossberg castle near the village of Dargen (Pomerania, Germany).
Dated to the second half of the XIII – the first half of the XIV centuries.
It is currently housed in the German Historical Museum in Berlin.
