Japanese military and ritual mask somen (Mengu).
This type of mask was used by the samurai class.
The mask I made is a copy of the work of the Japanese master Fukube Ichiro. It depicts probably the hero of Japanese mythology of the forest demon Tengu.
Separately made ears, nose, neck. 
Made of 1 mm steel, already rusted. 
There are two pins on the chin to fix the mask to the helmet using laces. 
A hole in the chin for draining sweat. 
Only a hammer, not polishing. 
Covered with natural rust. 
It is varnished with traditional tea masks of the color of strong tea. 
Japanese themselves from the time of the Middle Ages loved to age new things, including masks, covering them with rust-colored varnishes, and also intentionally rusted.
