Samurai mask Edo

Samurai military and ritual mask somen (mengu).
The somen I made is a copy of the mask of the late XVII century. The original is in the museum of Anna and Gabriel Barbier-Mullers (Dallas, Texas, USA). Made of 1 mm steel, eyes made of bronze. Added a beard from brass chain mail. Only a hammer, the lines were not polished. Covered with natural rust.
