The author’s copy of the samurai helmet type saiga kabuto.
The original was made by the famous 19th-century Japanese master Myochin Muneharu.
The helmet is made of steel 1.5 mm thick. Aged by natural rust. liner made from cotton and leather.

All parts are temporarily fastened with bolts, since during the manufacturing process the helmet has to be disassembled and reassembled several times
To speed up rusting, the helmet is covered with salt water and/or hydrogen peroxide for several days
